Lisa Cathey

Cathey Lisa Lynette Cathey, Holdenville, OK resident, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025 in Ada at the age of 55. Lisa was born October 26, 1969 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to David Truman Cathey and Patsy Ann (Brown) Carter. She worked as an LPN for Allen Gamble Correctional Facility. Lisa enjoyed shopping on Amazon, all things Jeep, freeze drying treats, gardening, road tripping, wine shopping and spending time with her dogs. Lisa loved hanging out with the love of her life, Glenn.

Lisa is survived by the love of her life, Glenn Roy Robinson of Holdenville, OK; son, Zachary Powell of Shawnee, OK; five daughters and sons-in-law, Kaylan and Cody McCoy of Horntown, Brenna Robinson of Kansas, Taylor and Rodney Hendley of Meeker, Katie and Eric Sanchez of Ada and Shirley and Travis Honsinger of Wewoka; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Shawna and Brian Cockran of Horntown, OK, and Jodi and Tim Woods of Sapulpa, OK; eighteen grandchildren, Christopher, Karli, Bryden, Izzie, Luna, Emerie, Beau, Blaire, Penelope, Carley, Amilia, Landon, Zoie, Ella, Jaxon, Braylee-Lisa, Peighton and Makenzie and many other family and friends.

Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Patsy Carter; father, David Cathey and brother, Scott Cathey.

Viewing will be Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK with James Bailey officiating. Cremation will follow. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
