Linda Howes

Howes Linda Sue Howes, Maud, OK resident, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 in Midwest City at the age of 70.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Wheeler; mother, Anna Swanson; three brothers; two sisters and one stepson, Jerry Howes.

Linda is survived by her husband of 44 years, Lester Howes of Maud, OK; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly and Shane Smith of Seminole, OK and Maryann and Nick Tuttle of Davis, OK; step-son and daughterin- law, Jason and Kimberly Howes of Lexington, MO; brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Debbie Wheeler of Evansville, WY; two sisters and brother-in-law, Arlene Bella and Randy Georgen of Broken Arrow, OK and Burla Carr of Lee’s Summit, MO; fifteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and many other family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Little Cemetery with Pastor Carl Whitfield officiating. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
