Moses Ruth “Jaunell” Amos Moses, 104, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Monday January 27th, 2025. Jaunell was born to Pearl and Ernest Crawford on August 10th, 1920 in Greenville, Texas. Her family moved to Seminole, Oklahoma when she was six years old during the glory days of the Seminole oil boom. She attended East Side Elementary School and graduated from Seminole High School in 1938. Thereafter, she graduated from the Degraft School of Cosmetology in Seminole. She then worked in a number of beauty salons around Seminole for approximately 30 years before becoming the owner of the Little Beauty Shop until 1970. She held a cosmetology license for 80 years choosing not to renew in 2019.
