Woodfork Mae Francis “Dee Dee” Woodfork was born February 1, 1962 to Reverend Jesse Woodfork and Rosie Mae (Island) Woodfork in Seminole, Oklahoma. She attended Seminole High School where she was an outstanding basketball player who graduated with the class of 1980. In November of 1981, she welcomed son Jesse. She continued her basketball career at Southwestern Oklahoma State University winning an NAIA championship with her teammates in 1983. While at SWOSU, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in business education which she utilized in her position as the executive assistant to the director at the National Center for Employee Development for the USPS.
