Brooks Lt. Deputy Gary Leon Brooks, Wewoka resident, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025 in Oklahoma City at the age of 56. Gary was born on July 14, 1969 in Seminole, OK to Avery Leon and Roberta Virginia (Lane) Brooks. He grew up in the Seminole and Maud area and was a graduate of Maud High School. Gary married Tammy Blackwell on October 26, 2020 in Seminole, OK.
