Holahta Shawnee resident Melissa Dawn Holahta, 39, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025, in Oklahoma City. Melissa, the daughter of Marilyn (McCulley) Moore and Joe Holahta, was born September 15, 1985, in Ada. Melissa attended high school at Westmoore. In the early 2000s, she met Vincent “Mike” Harjo, Melissa and Mike spent the next 20 years together. She enjoyed spending time with family, laughing and joking around, and she was always in a good spirit, and she loved watching Greys Anatomy. Melissa was a faithful member of Sand Creek Church in Wewoka.

He married Betty on July 21, 1953 in Gainsville, TX. He began working for Greens Oklahoma Liquified Gas in 1972 and retired from the company in 2004. He enjoyed his customers. Eldon and Betty delivered propane together for 32 years and enjoyed every minute of it. After he retired he bought and drove his dump truck for another 5 years.
