Amber Staring

Staring Amber Dawn Staring, 41, of Oklahoma City, OK, arrived at Heaven’s gates on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Amber was beloved and cherished by all who knew her.

Amber was born in Seminole, OK on August 31, 1983. Amber attended school in Strother and Butner, graduating from Butner with the class of 2002. During her school years, she enjoyed playing basketball and softball and spending time with her family and friends. Amber had a love for music, colorful clothes, nature and most of all for her three sons.

Amber was preceded in death by her grandparents Ray and Betty Wilcox of Seminole and Dale Staring of Tecumseh. Uncle Mike Wilcox of Seminole.

Amber is survived by her three sons Hunter, Ethan, and Easton Staring of Cleveland; her mother Tammy Walker of Cleveland; her father Kevin Staring and his wife Candy Staring of Guthrie; her siblings Scott Staring and his wife Krystal Staring of Broken Arrow, Amy Medina and her husband Josh Medina of Noble; Connor Akins of Guthrie and Kael Staring of Guthrie; her grandmother Dorothy Staring of Tecumseh; Nephew Rowdi Medina of Noble; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

There will be a celebration of life for Amber at Little Cemetery (11522 N. Highway 99, Seminole, OK) on Thursday, July 24th at 2:00 PM. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
