Clara Nation Lawyer, 93, longtime Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away peacefully, Friday September 24, 2021, in Seminole.
Clara was born October 13, 1927, to Ralph McConel and Lucy Elizabeth Morris in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
The family eventually moved to Stuart, Oklahoma where she met Creston Lawyer.
Creston and Clara were married February 8, 1946, and shortly after that they moved to Seminole where they raised their family.
As a faithful follower of Christ, she gave her time as a Sunday School Teacher.
Clara is survived by her son Larry Lawyer of Leonard, Texas, her daughter Donna Ratliff of Norman, Oklahoma, her grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Clara is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Creston Lawyer and her daughter Ronna.
Viewing for Clara will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 1, 2021, at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
Due to the Covid19 virus, only immediate family will celebrate her life at a graveside service on Saturday, October 2, 2021.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
