William Lynn “Bill” Haskins, age 72, departed this life on Saturday, December 26, 2020 in Shawnee, OK.

He was born February 5, 1948 in Seminole, Oklahoma to the late Adler Haskins Jr. and Mary Frances Noe Haskins.

He was a graduate of Seminole High School.

Bill entered Oklahoma Highway Patrol Academy October 15, 1972 and graduated December 15, 1972. Patrolling mostly in Seminole County and retiring in 1997. Bill then worked an additional 10 years for the Department Public Safety.

Bill’s hobbies were going to the lake, bow hunting, fishing, doing landscaping.

He married Bernice Womack June 15, 1998 in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Preceding Bill in death are his parents, first wife Charletta Haskins, brother Mike Haskins, sister Jana Evans, mother-in-law Ruby Womack and his dog BB.

Survivors include his wife Bernice of the home, his children David Haskins and wife Vicki of Shawnee, OK, Mike Haskins and wife Kristin Haskins of Earlsboro, OK; step-children Kent and Dana Roulston of Wewoka, OK, Shelly and Randy Elmore of Tecumseh, OK, and Raneice Cooper and Rodney of Wewoka, OK; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

And a host of other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, December 31, 2020 at New Life Church with Pastor Tommy Azlin officiating and assisted by Oklahoma Highway Patrol Chaplin Sam Garner. Burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Office will serve as Pall Bearers.
