Katie Harjo

Harjo Katie Mae Harjo passed away, Saturday, February 28, 2026 at her home in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 87.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Harjo Sr.; son, Dan Harjo; siblings, Flora McGirt, Jimmy Johnson, Edward Johnson, Thomas Johnson Jr., Florence Johnson Frank, Jeannette Johnson, and Abbie Johnson.

Katie is survived by her children, Billy Harjo Jr. of OKC, OK, Russell Harjo of OKC, OK, Karen Harjo of OKC, OK; one granddaughter, sister, Cynthia Castro of Altus, OK along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 6, 2026 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel in Wewoka, OK with Pastor Curtis Kinney officiating. Interment to follow at Johnson Family Cemetery in Wewoka, OK.
