James Rogers

James “Jim” Harold Rogers, age 87 departed this life on Thursday, August 29, 2019 in Seminole, OK. He was born September 1, 1931 in Shawnee, OK to the late Clyde J. Rogers and Gretta Fay Dubler Rogers. He was a graduate of Trousdale High School. On September 1, 1950 he married Barbara Milburn.

Jim worked for OG& E Electric for more than 30 years in the line department. He enjoyed doing woodwork and working in his garden.

Preceding Jim in death are his parents, and granddaughter Gina.

Survivors include wife Barbara of 69 years of the home, daughter Deborah Ann Gale of Muldrow, OK, son Jimmy Dale Rogers of Knoxville, TX grandchildren Audra Efford, Angelia Rodriquez, Angie Keith, and Terry Sharra.

Funeral service will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel with Pastor Frank Moppin officiating and burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery, Shawnee, OK.
