Glen McCraw

McCraw Glen David McCraw, age 83 passed away February 26, 2025 at his home in Sacred Heart, Oklahoma.

A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 3, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Oklahoma. Fr. Benji Bandanadam will officiate, and burial will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery. Viewing will be 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Glen was the very definition of “old school.” His parents planted deep roots in loyalty to family, faith, country and hard work. He didn’t know any other way except working long hard days either in the oil field or the farm. He loved his life.

He is survived by his sisters, Carolyn “Cookie” Bassett and Bob of Maud, Oklahoma, Geneva Heskett and Delbert of Dallas, Texas, brothers, Jerry McCraw of Konawa, Bernard “Dink” McCraw and Sue of Stillwater, Oklahoma, he is also survived by: Bruce McCraw of Konawa and Vickey McCraw-Harjo of Denver, as well as many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his partner of over thirty years, Zelma McCraw, his parents Ed McCraw and Laura (Lehman) McCraw, his brothers, James (Jimmy) McCraw and Emmit McCraw.
