Darlene Emarthle

Emarthle Darlene Janis Emarthle, age 68 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away March 9, 2025 at Oklahoma City Rehab Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa. Gary Tomahsah of Elgin, Oklahoma will officiate, and burial will follow at the Alex-Emarthle Family Cemetery located at 35422 Hwy. 39 East of Konawa. Darlene will be taken to the home Wednesday, March 12th at 4:00 p.m. for an all-night wake.

She is survived by two sons, Solomon Garrison and Jonah Garrison, both of Konawa; two daughters, Dr. Michelle Tsosie and husband, Casey of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Tafv Garrison of Ada, Oklahoma; one brother, Alan Emarthle of Canada; four sisters, Debra Harjo and husband, Steve of Seminole, Oklahoma, Denise Emarthle of Konawa, Diane Emarthle of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Melody Emarthle of Konawa; 11 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one grandson, Haydoekeyo Tsosie.
