Coretta Marie Cole

Cole Coretta Marie Cole, Seminole, OK resident, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025 in Seminole at the age of 82.

Coretta is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Alton and Evelyn Peavler of Seminole, OK; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Tecumseh Underwood of Maud, OK; sister, Dorothy McCathern of Meeker, OK; two grandchildren, and many other family and friends.

Coretta was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Tressie Brown; husband, Eugene Cole and sister, Mary Lou Bachhofer.

Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 and from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Trinity Baptist Church in Maud with Pastor Butch Bradley officiating. Interment will follow at Cummings Cemetery in Maud, OK. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
