Anthonette “Bobbie” Jones, age 96 and a resident of Maud, Oklahoma passed away February 2, 2022 at Seminole Care and Rehab in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 6th from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa, Oklahoma. A Wake service is scheduled for Monday, February 7th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 8th at the Chapel, and burial will follow at the Harjo Family Cemetery. Rev. Frank Moppin will officiate.

Bobbie was born July 23, 1925 in Wolf Oklahoma to Tema Harjo and Ida B. (Burgess) Harjo. She graduated from Wolf High School. She was a Certified Nurse’s Aide for multiple healthcare facilities. Bobbie was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by three sons, T. A. Larney of Wolf, Oklahoma, William Larney of Seminole, and Sterling Wood also of Seminole; three daughters, Nannell Crow of Ada, Oklahoma, Lou Ann Billie of Wewoka, Oklahoma, and Tina Larney of Shawnee, Oklahoma; fifteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jimmy Larney; one daughter, Cynthia Wood; one granddaughter, Judi Larney; one grandson, Jeremy Wood; three brothers, Floyd Harjo, John Crayton Harjo, and A.B. Harjo; and three sisters, Flora Wood, Ruby Pennoke, and Helen Bailey.
