The Seminole Chieftain football team returned to the gridiron when they traveled east to challenge the Checotah Wildcats on Friday, September 6. Looking to avenge a loss to the Wildcats from last year, the Chieftain offense came out firing on all cylinders and their defense came up with key stops, helping Seminole to a 60-49 win, and a 1-0 start to their 2024 campaign.
