A beautiful home minutes from the ocean, palm trees, colorful flowers on every corner, and even seeing an occasional alligator made him feel like he was in a tropical paradise. He didn’t feel quite at home until he saw his surname on street signs, buildings, and even a beautiful area named Gillespie Park. On my last visit there during Christmas, we began to investigate the Gillespie name in Sarasota.
