In reading some of my old poems about my life, I realize how I let the importance of things come and slip away in time. The first poem is about paper dolls, dolls (in general), books, and the last, paper. The second poem, “Didn’t Always Have Legs” explains itself. The third, ”The Saturday Ritual” remembering the 50s in Chandler. (The “slash” line separates each line of the poems.)
