This was an improvement compared to the previous report, which showed Seminole County tied with Haskell County for the second highest rate of unemployment in the state. In the report for August, McIntosh County posted Oklahoma’s highest county unemployment rate of 5.8 percent. Haskell County remained at the second-highest rate for the month.
